The most intimate nip and tuck of all – with Neuvia
Remember when talking about cosmetic procedures used to be taboo? We are so way past that now.
But what about the most intimate tweak of all?
With the arrival of new nonsurgical options that are safer and offer less downtime, vaginal rejuvenation, also called female rejuvenation, is now having its day and gaining popularity for women across all age groups.
But intimate rejuvenation is not just about how things look ‘down there’, it has a very real medical purpose that goes beyond aesthetics.
During our twenties and thirties, the vaginal walls are bathed in hormones, making them strong and robust. But as we enter our forties hormone levels – namely oestrogen — gradually start to decline. This causes the walls, which are comprised of mucous membranes, to become less resilient.
Childbirth, the onset of the menopause, along with the loss of oestrogen will also leave its mark on the vagina. In some case, the laxity or loss of tone can also lead to discomfort during sex as well as make women self-conscious about their bodies.
Others may suffer from urinary incontinence or vaginal dryness making intercourse painful and are unsure why.
Whatever the issue, there’s no longer any need to ‘put up’ with feeling unhappy with our intimate areas.
For women who want to improve their enjoyment of sexual intercourse, reduce embarrassment and emotional or physical discomfort, female rejuvenation gives them a fast, effective and long-lasting solution to help regain and restore confidence!
What is Vaginal Rejuvenation
Vaginal rejuvenation is a procedure involving injecting the world’s first safe organic hyaluronic vaginal filler, Neauvia Intense Rose filler, into the anterior and posterior vaginal wall just inside the vagina to increase their volume and thickness while creating a firmer and tighter vaginal canal. This helps to achieve a better sensation during the intercourse. It also helps to lubricate the vagina through the increased hydration of vaginal mucosa.
One of the newest treatments – Labial Rejuvenation – is a procedure involving injecting Neauvia Intense Rose filler into the labia majora to increase their fullness through enlargement. The filler hydrates the skin and mucosa, additionally rejuvenating the treated area by stimulating fibroblasts to produce collagen.
Women going through menopause can also experience more hidden symptoms, including loss of libido and for this the filler can also be safely injected within the vagina and even directly to the G-spot (sometimes known as a G-shot or O-shot) providing instant results for those who suffer from lack of sensitivity, the loss of tissue and laxity often caused by wear and tear and hormone loss.
When the filler is combined with CO2RE Intima laser the combination treatment can help restore a woman’s natural confidence in her sexuality delivering:
- Fuller, rejuvenated labia majora (outer lips)
- Less protruding labia minora (inner lips)
- Restored symmetry and more comfort
- Tighter more lubricated vagina
- Enhanced sexual sensation
Vaginal rejuvenation with Neauvia Intense Rose & how it’s done.
After consultation, the treatment is carried out under a local anaesthetic injected by our specialist Nurse Fiona to make the area numb during the procedure.
A small cannula is then introduced superficially into each labium and the filler injected. The loss of volume and any asymmetry gets instantly corrected. The whole procedure on labia lasts 15 – 30 minutes and does not require a recovery period or any downtime.
Vaginal augmentation often requires larger volumes of filler and takes up to 45 min. The injected area may be a little uncomfortable but should settle in a day or two. There may also be some minor redness or bruising from the injection. Results last 1-2 years.
What is G shot & how it’s done?
The G shot is a method of amplifying and augmenting this area for better sexual sensation. The procedure which is done under a local anaesthetic is fast, painless and takes up to 10 minutes. Results can last up to 12 months.
*Neauvia Rejuvenation Rose Gel is a pre- and post-treatment serum designed to complete all gynaecological and intimate aesthetic treatments. It is also a non-invasive topical treatment for women suffering from Perimenopausal and menopausal vaginal symptoms.
How The Menopause Affects the Vagina
A huge trend in fighting the signs of aging is now looking at getting the right hormonal balance. In fact, it is the foundation of health and wellbeing as when your hormones are out of balance, it can negatively affect every aspect of your health including your vagina.
Like everything else, our hormone levels fluctuate as the years roll by. Levels of oestrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA and thyroid all drop as we age affecting the quality of our life. Oestrogen, however, is a hormone that helps maintain the vagina’s lubrication, elasticity and thickness and low levels can cause thinning and drying as well as inflammation, called vaginal atrophy.
But Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy may just be the natural answer to top up flagging hormone levels.
Bio-identical hormones are actually natural plant-based hormones with the same chemical structure as those naturally made by the human body and are metabolized by normal metabolic pathways.
Derived from plant chemicals (botanicals) these are then used to restore our hormones to more youthful levels, managing a whole host of different symptoms including a healthy vagina. BHT comes in various forms, including patches, creams, and gels, inserting pellets under the skin or vaginal creams. All are customized to suit the needs of each individual patient.
